WHAT WE BELIEVE

The BIBLE is in every part the inspired Word of God without error or contradiction and that Scripture is God's authoritative Word for today.

GOD is one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

MAN was created by God a perfect human being with body and soul but fell into sin and separated himself from God. As a result, all people need to be rescued from their sinful condition through the merits of the Cross.

JESUS CHRIST, God "in the flesh" (John 1:14), came to this earth, was born of a virgin, lived a perfect life for us, took the punishment for our sins upon Himself when He died on the cross, and rose again bodily. Through this sacrificial gift of love, He guarantees salvation, peace with God, and eternal life to all people who receive Him as their personal Savior.

SALVATION is a free "gift of God" (Romans 6:23) which cannot be earned by trusting in the good things we have done, but rather by trusting only in what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross. The question, "What must I do to be saved?" is answered clearly: "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved" (Acts 16:31).

SAVING FAITH is created and sustained by the Holy Spirit, who lives in our hearts. He works through the Means of Grace...the Word of God, Baptism and the Lord's Supper.

THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT enables us to live victorious lives with His fruits (Galatians 5:22-23) and gifts for the glory of the Lord Jesus.

THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS, accompanied by the resurrection of the dead and final judgment, may be anticipated with joy and confidence by His forgiven people.

Who is Jesus Christ?

Jesus is God's perfect son, sent by God to the earth for one purpose... to die on a cross for the sins of the entire world.

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all men...” (1 Timothy 2:5-6)

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Does everyone really need Jesus Christ as their Savior?

Yes. The Bible tells us that not even one person is sinless. The only assurance of eternal life in Heaven is by being sorry for your sins and accepting by faith that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you.

“This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” (Romans 3:22-23)

“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:6-8)

A personal relationship with the Jesus Christ truly is an experience! But don't just take our word for it. Discover for yourself that He truly does want to be in the midst of your daily life. Let Him in and you will never be the same.
